    There are certain stereotypes concerning every nation, and if we speak about typical Ukrainian character, adjectives like “hospitable”, “friendly”, “kind-hearted” will probably come to mind. In this post I speculate about some stereotype national features which are traditionally viewed as virtues, but which might partly cause the frustrating slowness of Ukraine’s recovery from soviet stagnation in comparison with some other post-soviet countries.     Snow in Kyiv   Almost 617 tons of snow has been removed from Kyiv streets on January 21. It was twice as much as on the previous day.
